Why the Medical Assistant Field?

Compassionate people who enjoy helping others are great candidates for a Medical Assisting career! Can you see yourself wearing scrubs and a stethoscope, working as part of a medical team? Or how about working as a Phlebotomist drawing blood for different kinds of medical laboratory testing?

Employment is expected to grow much faster than average**, with excellent job opportunities. Students in the Medical Assistant program learn high demand skills that encourage employers to hire them for entry-level positions in doctors’ offices, urgent care settings and community health centers.
