In only seven months, MTTI’s Computer Tech Program will train you to work as an entry-level Computer and Network Support Technician. Employment of computer support specialists is projected to grow 23% in Massachusetts and 16% in Rhode Island from 2020-2030, much faster than the average growth rate for other occupations.*

Through a combination of classroom and hands-on training—all taught by your primary instructor—you’ll gain the skills to assemble, configure, troubleshoot and manage PCs and networks. Our Computer Tech Program graduates work for businesses, schools, and health care organizations, in both field support and help desk environments.
Some skills we cover in our IT Training include: Windows 11 training, plus Apple iMac/iPad and Android Configuration and Support, AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, Packet Tracer/Cisco IOS Commands, PowerShell Scripting, IP Security Cameras and many other IT Support skills.
When you obtain training related employment within 90 days after graduation, you’ll be eligible to keep the computer you build during class as a tool bonus. See Admissions Rep for full details.
CompTIA recognizes MTTI’s Computer Tech Program as a training facility that provides comprehensive certification exam preparation. During the program, you will be preparing for CompTia A+ Certification, which is a credential that is highly valued by many employers.
CompTIA A+ Certification is the industry standard for computer support technicians. Two exams are necessary to be certified.
CompTIA A+ 220-1101 covers Mobile Devices, Networking, Hardware, Virtualization & Cloud Computing, and Hardware & Network Troubleshooting
CompTIA A+ 220-1102 covers Operating Systems, Security, Software Troubleshooting and Operational Procedures
