Welcome to MTTI! I’m Anya and I’ll be your Admissions Specialist. I’m excited to guide you through your educational journey here at MTTI.
Our Electrician Program is located at our satellite campus in Rhode Island, at 54 Water St. East Providence, RI. Conveniently located on off I-195, just 5 minutes from Providence and 20 minutes from Fall River.
Electricians are highly respected professionals whose services are essential to both homeowners and commercial organizations.
According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics ONET, Electricians are a Bright Outlook Occupation, with faster than average job growth expected… and in our area of Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Electrician job growth is even higher than the national average! Career Placement is never guaranteed, but our in-house Career Services team will assist you with creating a resume and finding an internship to increase your odds of finding a job you’ll love!
Each student receives a professional tool kit for use throughout the program. Graduates who successfully enter verified training-related employment within 90 days, keep the tools to use on the job. The Tool Bonus Policy is outlined in the Student Orientation Booklet. Please see an Admissions Representative for complete details on the tool policy.

In our most recent Graduation & Employment Report, MTTI’s Electrical program had a 93.8% placement rate for our Day program and 84.6% for our Evening program!
“MTTI taught me about electrical work from the ground up, bringing a complete novice to a level suitable to become an apprentice. If you’re looking for a position in the trades, start here. It’s worth it to learn the process to be able to navigate the National Electrical Code (NEC) and learn the tools of the trade.”
