MTTI Is Hands-On

At MTTI our goal is to provide a re-creation of the workplace, so you won’t just be in a classroom all day. At least 50% of your time will be spent in the shop or lab getting the hands-on training you’ll need.

We don’t create this training ourselves. Advisory Boards made up of local employers oversee and advise on each and every program in areas including curriculum, tools and equipment.

Full or Part Time Classes

Our Automotive, HVAC, Medical Assistant and Electrician programs offer part-time evening classes for those who are working full-time and unable to attend day classes. Evening classes are Monday-Wednesday from 5:30-9:30pm and take 17 months to complete.

Full-time day classes are available for all programs and are completed in 7 months, Monday-Friday 8:30am-3pm.

Enhanced Learning With Small Class Sizes

With small class sizes, students can connect more closely with their classmates and instructor, and become more confident and comfortable when it comes to sharing their ideas and perspectives. These connections lead to lasting friendships. We cap the attendance of each class at 18 students, so we can provide personalized attention and one-on-one assistance when needed.

Internships

For the final month of class, students in every program undertake an internship to prepare for employment.

Students will work part-time for an employer in their chosen field to fine-tune their skills in an actual job setting, helping to transition each student into the workforce. – Many students often end up getting job offers from their internship employer after graduation!
